On Tuesday, US Treasury yields declined on the coronavirus worries. New York City reported the rise in the daily positive rate of coronavirus tests above 3%, a record in months. At the same time, hospitalizations in New York increased to 571, the highest level since August 7. 

Meanwhile, investors were looking for a televised debate between President Donald Trump and Democrat Joe Biden.
