Gazprombank placed fourth-series ECP worth USD 95 mln

Gazprombank (GPB) - the third biggest bank in Russia in terms of assets - placed Euro-Commercial Papers (ECP) of the fourth series in amount of $ 95 mln for one year, according to the materials GPB. Securities maturing in January 2014 were sold under the bank's ECP program of up to USD 1 bln. GPB has an outstanding ECP issue of the fifth series totalling USD 37 mln, placed in January 2013. GPB has already tapped the international market this year with a large borrowing: 3 1/2-year ruble-denominated Eurobonds worth RUR 20 bln with a yield of 7.875% p.a. Gazprombank is the head bank of the eponymous group integrating banking, petrochemical and media assets. Principal owners of GPB are Gazprom (35.54%), NPF Gazfond (47.38%) and Vnesheconombank (10.19%).
