UFS Daily Review: Bond market grew yesterday on positive US statistics and decreased likelihood of a fiscal cliff

Bond market: Local bond market
Yesterday OFZ demonstrated strong growth on the entire yield curve amid increased trading volumes. Upbeat existing home statistics acted as a positive signal after over 2-week price consolidation.
The most noticeable growth was posted by long-term bonds: 15-year 26207 edged up 0.52%, 10-year 26209 climbed 0.54%, 9-year 26205 added 0.52%. The average growth on the medium- and short-term segments was 0.3% and 0.2% respectively.
Russia-18-OFZ-26204 has by now narrowed by 3 b. p. to 76 b. p.
Corporate bonds showed mixed price dynamics amid low trading volumes.
Rusnano-2 (-0.25%), TCS Bank BO-6 (-0.15%) and MMK BO-4 (-0.15%) underperformed the wider market. Modest demand was enjoyed by NK Alliance-4 (+0.21%), Nota-Bank-1 (+0.2%).
