Greek budget deficit better than expected
October 12, 2012 Ekathimerini
Greek Finance Ministry published on Thursday its provisional budget execution data for the first nine months of the year that paint a not-so-bleak picture given that the deficit is smaller than originally forecast. Official figures showed the budget deficit at 12.65 billion euros in the year's first three quarters, against a target for 13.51 billion set by the budget. In the same period the primary deficit came to 1.998 billion euros. |
