On Friday, US Treasury yields moved up a little as investor mood was mixed. A record number of coronavirus cases on Thursday and re-introduced lockdowns were balanced with the positive news on a vaccine.

Gregory Faranello, head of US rates trading at AmeriVet Securities: “The Coronavirus is once again front and center with selective lockdowns being imposed across the country. This all at the same time we received positive news on the vaccine front. Markets remain choppy in the interim.”
