The Belarusian government securities market is represented by the government registered bonds of the Republic of Belarus. The amount and terms of each bond issue are set by the issuer, namely, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Belarus. Goverment bonds of the Republic of Belarus are issued in compliance with the instructions on the procedure of issue, circulation and redemption of government bonds of the Republic of Belarus, as approved by the Decree of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Belarus dated July 11, 2018. The corresponding document is published on the website of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Belarus. The Belarusian government bonds are represented by the following types of securities: VGDO - government long-term bonds denominated in foreign currency; VGKO - government short-term bonds denominated in foreign currency; GDO - government long-term bonds; GKO - government short-term bonds; The Belarusian government bonds are placed using different types of securities offering: direct sale to a legal entity under a contract; direct sale via the trading system of Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange, JSC; auction in the trading system of Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange, JSC. At the same time, the types of offering and additional offering for the same bond may differ. |
