The academy has already excelled itself in science and education. The Reward for its staff is in the results of the Academy of sciences of higher school of Ukraine “Sophia of Kiev”: the academy has been placed into the best 10 economic higher educational institutions of Ukraine and has got the diploma of laureate. At the International exhibition of educational institutions “Modern education in Ukraine - 2002” the academy received a silver medal and diploma “For considerable contribution in the development of the national educational system”. At the VII International exhibition “Modern education – 2004” Ukrainian academy of banking took the honourable third place and won a bronze medal in nomination “Innovative pedagogical methods in educational process”. High students’ results in sports have been honoured with the golden medal of the Committee of physical training and sports of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The academy has repeatedly won festivals of education and exhibitions of different levels. Its students show high level of knowledge at All – Ukrainian competitions and conferences. The analysis of the adaptation in industry of young specialists from higher economic institutions showed: students graduated from the academy are prepared to work in the real sector of economy. … Chef d’oeuvres of architectural art, monuments restored from ruins, these are buildings of the academy which became the adornment of Sumshchina. Elegant lecture halls welcome students from all regions of Ukraine. An atmosphere of wellness and sincerity dominates in the temple of science, where knowledge is cultivated and the students are the sole priority. The academy has level IV education qualification accreditation, trains specialists in such spheres as: “Banking”; “Finance”; “Audit and accounting”; “Economic cybernetics”; “Management of external economic activity”; “International economy”; “Law”. The academy accomplishes qualification raising for bank specialists. The educational process is provided with the powerful information technologies network. More than 70 % of its professors are doctors and candidates of sciences. Ukrainian academy of banking proves more and more persuasively its status of higher educational institution of the European model.
