The maximum volume of placement of Polish bonds not subject to registration may increase 50 times

March 15, 2018 | Cbonds

The maximum volume of placement of Polish bonds that are not subject to registration may increase to 5 million EUR, as Obligacje.pl reported according to the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF).

According to the decision of the European Union, since July 21st, issuers will be able to place bond issues up to 1 million EUR without the mandatory registration of the prospectus and information memorandum. Under this resolution, each country can individually increase the maximum threshold to 8 million EUR.

The current limit of placement of Polish bonds that are not subject to mandatory registration is 100 thousand EUR, which is 50 times less than the planned maximum amount.
