Cbonds News Agency has prepared an arranger league table for the Polish domestic corporate bond market based on 2016 results.The league table takes into account all corporate, cooperative and mortgage-backed bonds listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange in 2016.
All issues taken into account in the 2016 league table amount to PLN 7.97bn (USD 1.9bn) posting a 27% decrease compared to 2015 (PLN 10.89bn, equivalent to USD 2.79bn).
MBank/ DM mBanku group is number one in the league table with PLN 2.28bn (a market share of 28.58%). DM PKO BP/ PKO Bank Polski group is ranked second with PLN 1.35bn (17.00%). Bank Pekao/ Pekao IB is number three with PLN 0.75bn (9.42%). Bank Handlowy w Warszawie and Noble Securities are also among the leaders in the league table. The league table includes 22 bond arrangers.
Apart from the general league table, we have published league tables for bonds of the financial and non-financial sectors for the first time. For the financial sector bonds, the Top 3 list of arrangers is the following: mBank/ DM mBanku group is number one (PLN 1.62bn in placed bonds and a market share of 31.36%); DM PKO BP/ PKO Bank Polski is number two (PLN 1.31bn in placed bonds and 25.24% of the market); Bank Handlowy w Warszawie is number three (with PLN 0.70bn and 13.46% of the market).
For the non-financial sector bonds, the Top 3 list of arrangers is the following: mBank/ DM mBanku group is number one (PLN 0.66bn in placed bonds and a market share of 23.44%); Bank Pekao / Pekao IB group is number two (PLN 0.55bn in placed bonds and a market share of 19.59%); Raiffeisen Bank Polska is number three (PLN 0.34bn in placed bonds and a market share of 12.12%).The complete version of league tables can be found at http://cbonds.com/rankings/item/395.
