|Cbonds has prepared the league tables for the arrangers of Belarusian bond placements for 2018. Compared to 2017, the number of participants in the league tables decreased from 25 to 20, and the total volume of transactions increased by 87.5% – from 1.6 billion to 3.1 billion USD. |
Having arranged 48 issues of 11 issuers for a total amount of 843 million USD, Belarusbank and its subsidiary ASB BROKER took the first place in the general league tables of this year. Its share of the placement market in 2018 was 27.57%. The second place was taken by Astodevelopment, which arranged 39 issues for a total amount of 754 million USD. The third place was taken by BPS-Sberbank, which took part in the arrangement of 17 issues of 9 issuers for an amount equal to 277 million USD. Belagroprombank and the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus took the fourth and fifth places, respectively – Belagroprombank arranged the placement of 10 issues of 7 issuers in the amount of 244 million USD, while the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus placed 7 issues of 4 issuers worth 199 million USD in 2018. The share of the first five arrangers in the market is 75.75%.
Belarusbank and ASB BROKER, the share of which was 43.56%, also became the leaders of the league tables of the arrangers of the Belarusian bonds excluding housing bonds. All together, investment banks placed 27 issues of 9 issuers in the amount of 803 million USD. The second line was occupied by BPS-Sberbank, which arranged 12 issues of 7 issuers in the amount of 268 million USD. The bronze winner is the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus – 6 issues of 3 issuers in the amount of 198 million USD. Having participated in the placement of 4 issues of 3 issuers in the amount of 124 million USD, Belagroprombank is on the fourth place, while Belgazprombank is on the fifth place with 8 issues of 5 issuers for 111 million USD. The share of five leading arrangers of the league tables, excluding housing bonds, is 81.65%.
