The actual coupon payment dates have appeared on the pages of the US and Canadian government bond issues

January 14, 2019 | Cbonds

Cbonds has added information on the actual payment dates in the Cash Flow section on the page of the US and Canadian government bonds. The actual payment dates are specified for all bonds of these issuers.

For example, Bond USA, Bond 3.375 15nov2048 30Y.

The actual bond payment dates are calculated based on the weekend calendars. To calculate the actual payment date for the US bonds, the calendar of the FRS of the USA is used; to calculate the actual payment date for the Canadian bonds, two calendars are used: calendar of national holidays in Canada and calendar of day-offs in the Province of Ontario.

Upon updating the information about the days-off on an annual basis, the data in the Actual Payment Date field will be recalculated automatically.

Information on the actual payment dates is also available in the Cbonds Add-in for Microsoft Excel and API.
