Public Bank Berhad, together with its subsidiaries, provides various financial and banking products and services to retail customers, and small and medium size enterprises. The company offers a range of financial products and services, such as corporate lending, investment banking, Islamic banking, retail banking and financing, share broking and fund management, and treasury and capital market operations, as well as accepts deposits. It also provides consumer financing products, such as home mortgages, passenger vehicle hire purchase financing, and personal financing; retail commercial loans to small- and medium-sized enterprises; unit trust funds, bancassurance products, wealth management products, cards, trade finance, remittances, and investment-linked products; Islamic banking services, such as Islamic consumer financing; and Internet banking and mobile banking services. The company operates 81 branches in Hong Kong; 3 branches in the People’s Republic of China; 21 branches in Cambodia; 7 branches in Vietnam; 3 branches in Laos; and a branch in Sri Lanka, as well as 3 representative offices in Shanghai, Shenyang, and Taipei. It also operates a network of 1,362 self-service machines, including automated teller machines, cheque deposit machines, and cash deposit terminals. The company was founded in 1966 and is headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
